GYWoodstock is an award winning community business developed by the mental health charity Great Yarmouth and Waveney Mind primarily to assist individuals with mental ill health to learn basic skills to help them gain employment.

The workers can engage at all levels of the business including development, marketing, collections and production. Having a commitment to the community, the project incorporates the environmental aspect of re-use, recycling and reduction of waste to landfill, which it promotes through all its activities.

 There are opportunities for service users to learn skills which will introduce them to a working environment.

Students can work along side staff, service users and volunteers in a controlled environment. Learning outcomes could include assessments, reviews, monitoring progress, studying interactions and understanding of social enterprise.
